Marc Riboud is the first western photographer allowed into China in 1950s. At that time, he traveled from India through Hong Kong, to Guangzhou, and then continued to north. It was his first time to record the Chinese scenery, taking pictures including Wuhan City and the construction of Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. The black and white photos of this famous French photographer have become a history file to the great changes China, and at the same time are the cherished memories for the 1950 's East World, which is lack of images.
